Proven Thermal Testing
The battery
powered DIAMOND FACT uses thermal conductivity to distinguish diamond from
its many simulants. Simply touch the tips of the probe pen to any mounted or
loose stone. If the analog dial reaches the green zone- the stone is
diamond- if it remains in the red zone the stone is a simulant. Stones as
small as 0.02 carat can be accurately tested.

KT-9 Digital Magnetic
Susceptibility Meter
The KT-9 is
state-of-the-art in portable magnetic susceptibility meters. The field
geologist will find that the many advanced features of the KT-9 make it an
indispensable tool for the accurate analysis of rock samples.
Features
This very compact, handheld unit can be used to
analyze and classify rock types or drill core samples. A unique feature of
the KT-9 is a pin that protrudes from the center of the coil. This pin
enables the user to take a reading from an extremely small portion of the
sample’s surface. By taking successive readings on an uneven surface, the
"unevenness" error will be removed from the data, and a very accurate result
will be obtained. The unit can also be used in the "no pin" mode for flat
sharpness and the scanning of core. The KT-9 gives the user a data average
for samples in memory.
